D​avid Hammond

David Hammond is the Chief Executive Officer at Chiptech. Since its incorporation, Chiptech has grown into the largest supplier of digital alarms, supporting over 130k vulnerable people in the UK. Chiptech has built its reputation on providing excellent customer service and a product range covering Digital Alarms, Enhanced Telecare and GPS devices specifically known for their ease of use, rich feature set and safety, such as Dual SIM connectivity. Chiptech's products are designed to support elderly and vulnerable people to live an independent, active life while remaining in their own homes.

Based in Lancaster, David formed Chiptech in 2019 and now supports 120 business customers throughout the UK covering Local Authorities, Housing Associations, Community Equipment providers and private providers supporting them in their digital migration. Within David’s role, he also supports the TSA on Special Interest Groups and has led the way in digital resilience within the industry. He is also an active member of the Lancashire community, academia, and business groups. Prior to this, David led the Chubb Community Care business bringing to market multiple product sets and services to health, housing, and social care.
